MANUEL'S AUTO BODY

Since 1983, Manuel Angel, owner of Manuel Auto Body & Custom Collision in Vallejo has customized thousands of cars with one-of-a-kind paint jobs. He has given new life to classic cars, transforming once forgotten rides into head-turning beauties.​

Manuel’s work has been featured in numerous low-rider magazines. He even worked on Earl Stevens’ 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass, converting it from a white paint to green. Stevens, better known by his stage name, E-40, is a well-known rapper, investor, and entrepreneur. Along with his family, Stevens is part of a Vallejo born rap group, The Click.

In 2015, a candy brandy wine-painted 1953 Ford truck he painted was awarded the Summit Racing equipment’s Downtown Reno Show & Shine — the best of the best during Hot August Nights.

Manuel served as a liaison and creative consultant for the 2006 Pixar Studios feature Cars, where his work prominently displayed in a scene with a lowrider played by Cheech Marin displayed one of his original pieces.
